On 9th April 2023, was Easter and all churches were celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Bishop of Ankole Diocese Rt. Rev. Dr. Fred Sheldon Mwesigwa and Maama Dr. Alice Mwesigwa welcomed Christians at St James Cathedral Ruharo.

The Bishop thanked the Christians for the support rendered to Ankole Diocese towards the development and activities carried out in the Diocese.

He told them to mind the schools where their children should go for studies because some are involved in sexual pervasion and others exam malpractices.

He informed the Christians about the Revival Girls High School and Revival Junior School that will begin in 2024 at Katyazo 12miles Mbarara Ibanda road.

The Dean of St James Cathedral Ruharo, The Very Rev. Canon. Nathan Bobs Mwesigye preached behalf of the Bishop. 42 people accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and savior after hearing the word of God from Mark 16:1ff (who will roll the stone away) having emphasized that every burdens (stone) will be rolled away from us when we surrender all to Jesus.
