Church Construction Project Fundraising At Kikagate Archedeaconary

The Bishop of Ankole Diocese Rt Rev Dr Fred Sheldon Mwesigwa led a fundraising function at Kikagate archdeaconry On Saturday 25th March 2023. The fundraising was aimed at completing the church construction project which was started by Rev. Canon. Fred Karangwa Archdeacon Kikagate archdeaconry.

The guest of honor Hon. Thomas Tayebwa deputy speaker of Parliament and was represented by Hon. Amos Kankunda Mp Rwampara and he contributed 10m towards the church construction project. The fundraising was graced by the presence of other distinguished dignatories:

Hon. Reuben Arinaitwe mp Isingiro west, Hon. Nathan Byanyima MP Bukanga

Hon. Alex  Bakunda MP Isingiro South

Hon. Claire Mugumya woman MP Isingiro district.

The amount collected on that day was 67,887,700= (sixty seven million eight hundred eighty seven thousand seven hundred only)

The Bishop preached a very seasonal message from the book of Haggai 2:1ff

The glory of the latter church will be greater than the former one.
