The Ankole Diocese has launched coffee growing in various archdeaconry centers and parishes in Kinoni, a move that has been hailed as a major boost to the local economy. The initiative aims to promote sustainable agriculture and support small-scale farmers by providing them with the tools, resources, and knowledge they need to grow high-quality coffee beans.
Government through Operation Wealth creation gave the diocese 11 cows and 11 more cows yet to come
The Government of Uganda, through Operation Wealth Creation, has provided the Ankole Diocese with 11 cows as part of its efforts to promote sustainable agriculture and improve the livelihoods of farmers in the region. The cows are high-yielding breeds that are well-suited to the local climate and soil conditions, and they are expected to provide a reliable source of milk and income for the diocese and its members.
